CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operators Registration) is mandatory for all commercial vehicles travelling in Ontario and is applicable throughout Canada. This is obtained through the MTO (Ministry Transportation of Ontario) website.
All commercial motor vehicles in Ontario require a Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration certificate (CVOR) to be kept in each vehicle travelling in Ontario. The CVOR is part of a national safety system designed to monitor safety performance of Carriers in Ontario. This certificate is obtained by visiting the MTO website.
